METAL HOSE

JACKETED METAL HOSE ASSEMBLIES

Jacketed metal hose assemblies are used to easily convey products that need to be heated or cooled during their transfer. These assemblies are constructed in a hose within a hose configuration with the outer hose ported to allow the heating or cooling agent to circulate around the exterior of the inner hose. The conveyant is transferred through the inner hose.

Construction: Common inner hose and outer hose configurations appear below. Pressures illustrated are for single braid construction. Double braiding will increase pressure ratings. Flexline can achieve a greater degree of product heating/cooling by increasing the size of the exterior hose. Various alloys are available.
