AS604 (660 Series) R157

QUALIFICATIONS

SAE AS604

TSO C75 Type IIIB-S/P-F

AS1055 Type IIa & IIb, Class A & B, Integral and Slip-on Firesleeve

DESCRIPTION

R157 (660 series) is a heavyweight 3000psi (207 bar) aerospace hose assembly qualified to AS604. The hose consists of an extruded smoothbore PTFE innercore, reinforced with multiple layers of CRES 304 wire braid. The PTFE innercore is conductive and provides excellent chemical resistance through a temperature range of -65ºF to +400ºF (-54ºC to +204ºC) with unlimited shelf life. The 660 Series is especially suited to applications with significant impulsing, and outputs from hydraulic or pneumatic pumps. Standard fittings are CRES, however titanium fittings are also available. Fire protection per AS1055 Class A & B can be either integral, or slip-on AS1072 firesleeve. Chafe sleeves are available in a variety of integral or slip-on materials.

AS1339 (240 Series) R160

SAE AS1339

TSO C75 Type IIIB-S/P-F

AS1055 Type IIa & IIb, Class A & B,

Integral and Slip-on Firesleeve

DESCRIPTION

The 240 Series (R160-XX for aerospace applications) is a lightweight high pressure 3000 PSI (207 Bar) aerospace hose qualified to AS1339. The hose consists of an extruded smoothbore PTFE innercore, reinforced with CRES 304 wire braid in a single layer on sizes -04 through -10, or a double layer on sizes -12 through -16. The PTFE innercore is conductive and provides excellent chemical resistance through a temperature range of -65°F to +400°F (-54°C to +204°C) with unlimited shelf life. The pre-tensioned braid gives 240 Series hose the tightest bend radius of any metal braided high pressure

PTFE hose. The standard fitting material is CRES, but titanium is also available for weight savings. Fire protection per AS1055 Class A & B can be either integral, or slip-on AS1072 firesleeve. Chafe sleeves are available in a variety of integral or slip-on materials.

AS614 (370 Series) R154

QUALIFICATIONS

SAE AS614

AS1055 Type IIa & IIb, Class A & B, Integral and Slip-on Firesleeve

DESCRIPTION

R154 (370 series) is a heavy duty 4000psi (276 bar) aerospace hose assembly qualified to AS614. The rugged 370 Series is especially suited to applications with significant impulsing, and outputs from hydraulic or pneumatic pumps. Standard fittings are CRES, however titanium fittings are also available. Fire protection per AS1055 Class A & B can be either integral, or slip-on AS1072 firesleeve. Chafe sleeves are available in a variety of integral or slip-on materials.

AS1424 (S145 Series) S145

QUALIFICATIONS

SAE AS1424

DESCRIPTION

S145 Series: the premier and proven all-metallic aerospace hose, qualified to AS1424. S145 performs in extreme hot and cold, beyond the range of all thermoplastic hoses. It is used extensively on Space Vehicle and Launch Vehicle applications as well as hot sections of turbine engines where performance and reliability are critical. The hose consists of a convoluted innercore formed of CRES or Inconel® tubing, reinforced with a layer of CRES 304 wire braid. Operating pressures range from 2000 PSI (138 Bar) in small diameters to 800 PSI (55 Bar) in large diameters. S145 hose operates at temperatures up 1200ºF without the need for firesleeve. Standard fittings are available in CRES or Inconel®. We can mold a proprietary silicone on S145 hose assemblies, encapsulating braid and innercore, for service in severe vibration applications. Where greater flexibility and tighter bend radius is required, in a less dynamic environment, we offer S245 hose. S245 is available in the same alloys as S145.
